❄️Winter Break❄️
Winter break begins December 22 and continues through January 2. There will be no classes or scheduled school activities during the break. This stretch of time offers students and families the chance to relax, enjoy the holidays and spend time together before we begin the new year.
Classes resume on Monday, January 5, 2026. We look forward to welcoming students back, refreshed and ready for a strong start to the next semester.

Students will have an early release on Friday, December 19th for the end of the 2nd quarter.

Young Authors- Due January 23rd
Schools throughout Wyoming are encouraged to participate in the Young Authors Contest. This state-wide writing competition is offered for all grades, K-12 in public, private or homeschool. Entries include: fiction, non-fiction, poetry and graphic novels. The Young Authors Contest provides students the opportunity to write for enjoyment and to share their writing.
Starting today at 9:00am I-80 traffic will be routed through town as they remove the barriers in the Eastbound tunnel. They are opening the tunnels today. (see link below)
This will affect bus routes on the North side of town this afternoon and tomorrow in the morning and afternoon. The PD will be assisting with traffic control to assist us approaching to and leaving from Washington school off/on to Flaming Gorge Way.
We will be routing our buses to avoid having to cross Flaming Gorge way as much as possible.
We apologize for any inconvenience that this may cause and thank you for your patience.
